Why Me?

What's the worst thing someone can have in the world? Well, I'll sure as hell tell you it's luck.
So yesterday, my car was acting funny. Well I did what everyone else would do. I brought it to the shop.
They said they found nothing wrong with it, but I asked questions about this noise under the car and it turned out to be the transmission mount was rotting away. I said OK, I'll get that fixed. I got it fixed and got it back today. I was so happy that the noise was gone when I drove it and thought to myself, if anything else were to go wrong today, I'd still be in a happy mood.

Well, that all turned out to be a lie. Something else in fact did happen. On my way home from work, my car started to "skip a beat." Meaning that there is either something wrong with my engine or something else that I don't know of. The check engine light isn't on so I don't think it is the engine. But anyway, I was getting closer to home and my car was getting worse. It was jumping, I smelt something burning, almost like the smell of the sulfur when you light a match.so I pulled over to the side of the road. I called my father in a panic and he came to look at it. He can't find anything wrong with it. So we brought it to the mechanic AGAIN and I am probably going to get another five hundred dollar bill for something small, like the spark plug being loose or something idiotic. But anyway I hope my car is fine and it is something minor so that I am not going to pay a whole lot.

Let me add, this isn't the first time this has happened to me. As a matter of fact, this has happened about three more previous times. Each car that I've had, (1992 Nissan Sentra, 1987 Plymouth Grand Fury, 1993 Chevrolet Cavalier, and a 1997 Saturn LS) The Saturn never had a problem, except that the window is fucked up. But like I don't have any luck with cars. I bet that if I were to get a 2009 Scion tC, this same problem would happen. There is just something about me and owning cars that don't mix. Maybe I should just bicycle around everywhere. I would loose alot of weight I'll tell you that much. But like seriously, I think that I am going to start to bicycle everywhere. One, it's cheaper and two it won't cost over thirty dollars to get something fixed on it.

Not only would I bicycle around, but I can also use public transportation, although that would actually make me loose money on a count of putting money into a thing which is annoying. And sometimes the buses don't even run as late as I work. God only knows if the buses go anywhere near my job. I haven't seen one bus pass in the 6 months that I have been working. So who even knows. Maybe I'll quit my job, and get a job where I can sit at home on the computer for eight out of the twenty four hours of the day, which is mostly what I do anyway. But like I said, I have the worst luck with cars, and any type of vehicle as a matter of fact. Anything with wheels that I drive, breaks down. I don't know. I'm just glad that I have my friend's to cheer me up, and parent's who will let me use their cars when I don't have one.

Well, I honestly have no idea what else kinda luck to rant about, but that's it for now. If anything comes up, which I'm sure it definitely will, than I will edit this selection.

Myspace vs. Facebook

OK, so there can't be anything more boring to write about then Myspace and Facebook. But this is my first blog so far and my friend John had brought up a very interesting point to me. Myspace is slowly dieing out, as Facebook is beginning to skyrocket.
I don't understand why, Facebook is exactly like Myspace with a different name. You can still comment, do picture comments, write messages, tag photos, although Facebook had photo tagging way before Myspace did. But I don't see a difference in neither site. However, I do use both sites, but I rarely ever use Facebook. I do log in everyday to check Facebook, but I sign right back out. Facebook does not have an impact on me. It still doesn't have some features that Myspace does.
For instance, on Myspace, you have the option to look for someone of your type. You can put in the weight, height, color hair, sexuality, color eyes, body type and many other things to find someone that you potentially want. Can someone show me where that option is on Facebook, because I can't seem to find it. Also, on Myspace, you got the ability to post bulletins that you want to tell numerous people so you don't have to go to each profile like you do on Facebook. Facebook seems like a way to stalk someone. I don't understand why people would want to put their home address, phone number (home&cell), and screen name out there for someone to come and stalk you. Especially with all the sex offenders out there, you could be friend's with someone and they have all your information and easily go to your house and either rape you or convince you to have sex with them. Myspace keeps all your information confidential, and optional as does Facebook, but Facebook shows that information on your profile homepage.

I've been sitting here for a good 15-20 minutes thinking of what esle to write down, but I can't, so I'm just going to leave it at that I think Myspace is better than Facebook, I don't care what you all say. It's my opinion.
